JTE Machine Systems, Inc. Executive Overview

JTE Machine Systems, Inc. is a 15+ year old company, with 25+ years of expertise in providing plastic welding and automation solutions to markets across North America and beyond. In recent years, JTE has enhanced its full service production design and systems offering within the Industrial Fabrics arena by providing ultrasonic, radio frequency (RF) and impulse heat based technology to its customers. Because of this, JTE is currently the global innovation leader in custom designed and application specific RF and Sonic machines for the Office Products, Medical and Industrial Fabrics market. Application specific success includes solutions in Military Structures, Functional Apparel (including body armor), Consumer Product Packaging, Medical Device Packaging, Multi-dimensional inflatable products, Lightweight Conveyor Belts, and Multi-layer product production. With an established reputation for small footprint and high efficiency, JTE delivers high value production solutions ranging from handheld units ($5,000) to high-speed total automation integrated systems (>$1,000,000).

Over thirty years of combined expertise affords JTE with key competencies in product design and development, manufacturing processes related to soft goods manufacturing, custom automation machine solutions, and application specific system solutions. This expertise, together with the world’s best in RF (high frequency) and ultrasonic technology, offers a complete solution to the manufacturer who is seeking optimum efficiencies early in the new product development , throughout the introduction stage, and into the high volume, high growth product lifecycle stage. JTE Machine Systems 24/7 technical support team together with preventative maintenance and training programs ensure optimum uptime throughout the production process and across the life of the equipment.

JTE designers and programmers are focused on safety and the most intuitive HMI (Human Machine Interface) available, surpassing comparable alternatives, while ensuring scalability and upgradability. Long-term ownership satisfaction is at the forefront of the construction and component decisions in every JTE custom solution.

A medical products patent holder and inventor, our chief engineer, Jens Evling, is recognized as one of the few “expert RF engineers“ within North America. He has roots in Sweden and many years experience working directly for the European leader in High Frequency Automated RF solutions, FIAB High Frequency. He brings to the U.S., European standards and workmanship that when applied to U.S. demands and requirements, create a total solution that is unmatched in efficiency and innovation.

Headquartered just outside Jacksonville, Florida, JTE is the North American exclusive distributor of FIAB High Frequency, located in Poland. A leader in its field, JTE has access to the best automation components available through its preferred OEM status with its worldwide network of suppliers, including manufacturing partners in Taiwan and several locations across the Midwest and Florida.

The JTE facility includes 11,500 square feet  of research, testing, manufacturing and showroom space and is located just 30 minutes from Jacksonville International Airport, with easy access to the constantly expanding International Jacksonville Port Authority, and is within driving distance of four major Universities, including The Universityof Florida’s Sid Martin Biotechnology Incubator. A number of international industry leaders and investor groups have visited the JTE headquarters, and are in support of JTE’s pursuit of advanced manufacturing models especially in the medical, military and packaging industries. Recently, JTE was awarded a “Grow Florida” grant as part of the state’s effort to assist qualified second stage manufacturing companies with their marketing, product development and market expansion efforts.

A long-term member of the Industrial Fabric Association International, NIBA,  and a participant in several trade organizations, JTE is a respected advisor and contributor to numerous industry trade publications and testing protocols. One of four industry experts in TentNet, a Clothing & Textiles Research and Development Program that is a collaboration of DLA, industry, government and academia to significantly improve surge capabilities for military tent requirements, JTE is leading the way for innovation in manufacturing process and automation.Current Markets (not necessarily exampled below) include:

Customers and Products

JTE has built a base of hundreds of customers with many applications that represent almost 95% of all RF track (travelling) welder installations in North America.

Innovation for the Future

Because of its depth, breadth, and high value of solutions offered, JTE has been quite successful in its recent efforts to broaden its market share and reach out to a more diverse range of customers. By investing heavily in R&D, product portfolio expansion, and increasing marketing efforts mostly without the assistance of suppliers, JTE has only just scratched the surface of global opportunities across its numerous industrial fabrics, medical devices, and packaging markets. In July 2010, JTE launched a full line of automatic cutting systems and advanced welding solutions to include gluing, hot air, ultrasonic, and automatic sewing.  In 2014, JTE collaborated with Miller Weldmaster  in the first American designed and built rotary adhesive bonding machine for awnings, digital graphics, marine industries and other applications. The addition of these technologies allows JTE to truly become the “Total Solution Provider” to all of its existing customers, with the possibility to serve a much broader base of potential customers who may have been previously excluded due to the fact that their materials could not be welded by radio frequency or sonic bar technologies. Leveraging this unique position is a key element within JTE Machine Systems long-term strategy to achieve exponential growth across North America and beyond.
